Approximately 10 million U.S. households have video-on-demand (VOD) and another 2 million have personal video recorders (PVRs) and these numbers are growing rapidly. This panel will discuss consumer expectations concerning choice, personal control and decision-making regarding programming. What role do cable providers and programmers play in the on-demand world?  How does on-demand technology provide the opportunity to deliver highly specialized content? What is the relationship between suppliers and distributors in the rollout of new products and services?
